Savannah Wedding Photographer
For couples who value
Real over perfection.
A wallflower approach to wedding photography
Wedding Photography
so that you can enjoy your celebration
I help couples who feel a bit camera shy let go of the pressure of being in the spotlight so they can be present at their wedding.

No one should have to trade their experience for the perfect picture.
Couples should be comfortable and not feel ‘spotlight anxiety’ that prevents you from enjoying each other and the party you spent so much time planning.
ERIN & BRYANT
“I asked for candids, and I GOT candids. She captured it all.”
“We are so awkward in front of the camera”
If you feel safe and focused on each other you don’t need to be a model, you just need to be yourselves.
Being with your best friend shouldn’t feel awkward just because there is a camera there.

Hi, I’m Anne.
I get it—most of us feel a little out of place in front of a lens. My favorite couples usually start our sessions by telling me how much they dislike having their photos taken!
I have been the bride whose partner wore sunglasses for the first look, I know exactly how it feels to miss a moment because of a distraction. I won’t let that happen to you.
Weddings can be a place of resilience and bravery. I prioritize documenting the human experience, the laughter, joy and all the other real emotions throughout your day.
Most couples haven’t done this before. After photographing weddings for over 10 years, I have been able to provide advice in the moment or even hop in and help with a zipper or bustle.

“…we just clicked!”
“Anne is awesome to work with! She photographed our wedding and we got exactly what we wanted! She was professional and punctual and traveled to us.”

Work with the person who makes you feel relaxed.
You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day. That is one of the reasons I have always been a fan of engagement sessions or even a casual stress free hang-out session with couples, so that you can get to know me and feel comfortable with having a camera around.
If you are planning a destination wedding you can have multiday coverage options including a private couples session or rehearsal dinner photography.
Choosing how you want to remember your wedding shouldn’t be the hardest part of your planning. I’ve designed package options—from the “Honest Record” to the all-inclusive “Full Archive”— Whether you need timeline optimization or a second professional photographer for those “blink-and-you-miss-it” moments, I’m here to guide you through it all.
Life is complicated, here are some simple steps to take so that you can check one more thing off your to-do list.

A few more tidbits about how I work
What does a typical wedding day look like?
I will carefully curate each wedding timeline so that you can not only have the images that mean the most to you but are also given stress-free time with those who are there to celebrate you. I have been doing this for over a decade and have yet to be late for the ceremony. Also, couples are able to enjoy a decent amount of their cocktail hour.
First look or not?
Still deciding on when to see each other, coming down the aisle or a first look? First Looks are not for everyone, while they do give you more time with your guests there is something magical about seeing your partner for the first time walking towards you. Timelines are crafted to give you downtime no matter what you choose, so that you have a moment to kick back and you don’t feel so rushed. I dig deeper into this topic here.
Who is Kathryn and where did she come from?
Kathryn is my middle name, my last name is Marchesani (pronounced mar-kay-ZAH-nee) it is a bit much.
Decisions are hard, we make so many on any given day.
Make the easy choice.
If you feel like weddings have become too performative and that just isn’t you, I am here to help you with some guidance so you can allow your personality and love shine through in your images
