Un-Photoshoot Engagements

I thrive on laughter
You might be the person that just avoids having your photos taken or you’ve felt that fluttery sensation in your stomach before when you know someone has a camera, you’re not alone. It’s a common feeling, among most of my clients. That’s why we’re here to assure you that it’s not only normal, but it can also be transformed into something magical. Especially when you are with your partner, the one person who gives a sense of calm, and most importantly, laughter.
Jitters just mean you care about the moment and that is where the magic hides.
The real story happens when you interact with each other, I am just there to guide you. My favorite photos are when I give people ridiculous things to do, but the reaction to the actual act is when I start clicking my shutter button. Harnessing that nervous energy and tuning into your partner, laughing at the pure absurdity that you are being followed around by a photographer, is better than anything someone could pose.

The first 15 minutes will feel weird and you will wonder if every little thing is going to look silly.

There is a warm up timeframe for everyone, nobody is expecting fireworks at the beginning of the session, so don’t panic. As we all start to get to know each other, I will be able to give you better cues and you will quickly realize I have your back.
The courage it takes to face something that makes you nervous is admirable, as is your willingness to tackle the unknown. To think of it as an adventurous date night, like an escape room or exploring an unknown trail. We’re talking about turning those nerves into sparks of brilliance. I also recommend since you are all fancy, plan a nice dinner after the session is over.
Whether we’re wandering through Forsyth Park, exploring the cobblestone streets of the historic district, or finding a hidden corner of the riverfront — Savannah has a way of making everything feel a little more romantic anyway. - Skip the brand new shoes (broken-in feet = happier you)
- Tell me beforehand if there’s something you’re self-conscious about — I’ve got you
